To save the flame, you have to go to Flame >> Render to Disk. Sometimes it takes a while though, if it's high quality and huge... And yeah, I'm pretty sure you have to re-install it every 30 days or something like that.

Did you download it?
I'm going to assume you did.
Install it, open it, and make something.
Then go to Flame on the top menu bar thing, up by File and Edit.
Go down the list and find Render to Disk (or, the shortcut is ctrl+R).

Most of the options there are weird and I don't use them, but it saves the image you have so it can be opened.
